Weeks 5–8 — Reading
Passage anatomy, complex question types, time control and three full Reading tests.
Week 5 — Reading Foundations
Passage anatomy, skimming & scanning system, True/False/Not Given, Matching Headings
Week 6 — Complex Question Types
Matching Information, sentence completion, summary completion, keyword tables
Week 7 — Passage Strategy & Time Control
20-20-20 timing method, order of passages, handling unknown vocabulary
Week 8 — Full Reading Tests
3 full tests, deep error analysis, speed improvement drills
Weeks 9–13 — Writing
All Task 2 essay types, Task 1 formats (charts, maps, processes) and timed writing under exam conditions.
Week 9 — Structure & Essay Types
All Task 2 essay types, paragraph structure for TR & CC, Opinion & Discussion essays
Week 10 — Idea Development & Cohesion
'Domino effect' explanation logic, linking naturally, Problem / Advantage-Disadvantage essays
Week 11 — Writing Under Time Pressure
Task 2 in 35 minutes, introductions & conclusions workshop, live correction & band scoring
Week 12 — Task 1: Charts
Line, bar, pie charts — grouping data, overview mastery, key features vs details
Week 13 — Task 1: Maps & Processes
